Dr. Melfi Alrasheedi

Dr. Melfi Alrasheedi is distinguished in decision analysis and data science, with a career spanning academia and industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Decision Analysis and a Master’s in Applied Statistics. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at King Faisal University, where he applies his expertise in multi-criteria decision analysis and data analytics to improve education and promote innovative research.

Dr. Alrasheedi has extensive experience in business operations and consulting, creating quantitative models and analytical frameworks for improved decision-making and service delivery. His achievements include conducting analytical research, forecasting trends, developing KPIs, and leading consulting projects for the Riyadh Economic Forum (2023-). He also offers training and workshops on impact measurement and decision analytics.

In his previous positions as Dean of Applied College (2015-2018), Vice Dean of the College of Business (2010-2012), and Chair of the Quantitative Methods Department (2012-2014 and 2020-2022), he was instrumental in developing innovative programs, establishing support systems, and fostering inclusive environments aimed at preparing future professionals for success.

Dr. Alrasheedi is a dedicated and compassionate leader in his field, playing an important role in driving meaningful progress and making a positive impact on those around him. He served on the University Strategic Planning Committee (2015-2017) and the Scholarly Council (2021-2023). Currently, he is a member of the Supervisory Committee for Scientific Research at the Education & Training Evaluation Commission (2024-present) and a member of the Board of Directors for the Professional Association for Statisticians and Data Scientists (2020-present).
