A leading technology expert, with particular expertise in cyber legislation, electronic transactions, telecoms regulation, cloud computing, and data protection, Mr. Ahmed has over 25 years’ experience in IT and telecoms.
Over the years, Mr. Ahmed led the development of Bahrain’s cybercrime law, the state secrets law, and several technical regulations. He was also a member of Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for many years, where he authored and co-authored a number of market regulations, including fixed and mobile number portability regulation, lawful interception regulation, and the prepaid mobile registration regulation. He also recently authored an advisory paper analyzing the possible legal models to protect sovereign data residing in cloud data centers.
Mr. Ahmed Aldoseri is a certified mediator and holds a number of technical certifications, including CISSP, RHCE, MCSE, CEH, and ECSA.
